How often should I practice pilates?

Hi, I am new to pilates and am starting with the intro program, and I was just wondering what is the optimal days per week to repeat each class?

Should I do class one every day for a week and then move on to the next? Or do I need to have a couple of rest days after each class like in weight training?

Hi @Lauren_anon! Anula is big on listening to your body and doing what is right for you personally, so definitely check in with yourself to see how you’re feeling.

If you’re getting back to your mat for the first time in a while, rest days in between are a good idea so you don’t overexert your muscles and cause an injury. But if you are feeling ready, you can do them back to back too! A good default is one day on, one day off if that feels right.
