Mindfulness has definitely been a buzzword the last few years, but there’s a reason. Staying present, especially during hard times like these, can ground us and relieve stress and anxiety. One of my favorite ways to be mindful is to think of at least 3 things a day I am thankful for. Just try it and see if you feel better.

I am thankful for the positive environmental impacts that quarantine has had on our natural spaces.
I am thankful for helping give my roommate the best birthday they have ever had, even in quarantine, with many videos of friends and family that were creative and fun.
I am thankful for the lack of traffic and taking a break from commuting.
